

Fehmi Gerçeker
Producer-Director
Fehmi Gerçeker has won international awards and has signed various documentary films, TV programs and stage productions.
In the 1970s; he has signed as the producer and director of over 80 TV commercials.
In the 1980s, he went to New York; he completed his master's degree in TV - Film production and direction at CUNY. He has produced and directed various cultural films and TV programs in New York with his own production company.
He was chosen as the 'TV Producer of the Month in the USA' with the TV series "Behind The Camera", which he produced and directed. There are 12 of these programs, each of which is 60 minutes long. Because of these programs, which were realized with the participation of famous people from the history of cinema, Gerçeker was on the cover of the IETV- Industrial and Education TV magazine published in the USA and an eight-page article was published about his Behind The Camera works in this magazine.
His films are played on TV in various countries and are also distributed in the education market-educational programs market in the USA. (universities, libraries, educational institutions, etc.). Among his films; 1513 Piri Reis Map, Jazz and Great Depression, Geosophy and Paris UNESCO sponsored Mevlana and Tolerance won various awards.
He received the special plaque for Contribution to the Promotion of Turkey in the USA and South America from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey with the documentary film Piri Reis Map, and the Special Award for Contribution to History given by the US Department of Education at ceremonies held at Columbia University in the United Nations Building in New York. The film is shown in classes in secondary and higher education schools in America.
Gerçeker has been directing theater plays on various stages in New York since 1998. The musical Just One World, which he co-produced, was performed in Berlin, New York, and Toronto. The stage play Rumi Special – Mevlana and Tolerance, which he produced and directed, has been staged in Paris, New York, Berlin and Istanbul to date.
As an art director, he has worked on; He has performed special stage programs in the most prestigious places in the world such as New York -UN- United Nations, Paris UNESCO, Berlin Philarmonie Concert Hall, American National History Museum, Istanbul Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall.
In the 1990s; he started to be interested in communication and new technologies in this field in New York.
He came to Ankara upon the invitation of TUBITAK and realized Turkey's first CD-ROM game as a co-producer with TUBITAK.
In the 2000s; he came to Istanbul upon the invitation of Istanbul Technical University and realized Turkey's first DVD as a producer.
Kadir Has (6 years in total) gave lectures on "communication/advertising of today and tomorrow" as a lecturer one day a week at the Communication Faculties of Yeditepe and Istanbul Aydın Universities.
He gave the first Neuromarketing course in Turkish Universities in 2011. (He is the first person to introduce neuromarketing to Turkey.)
In 2016, his books Film Production Secrets and in 2018, Kamera Önü Oyunculuk were published.
In January 2021, his book Neurocinema was published.
He is the producer-director of the documentary O Çınar... (Yürüyen Köşk) which was completed in 2021.
The countries where he has done film production and stage work to date are Turkey, USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, England, Finland, Czech Republic, Senegal, Egypt and Cuba.


Tina Tavakkoli
Production Coordinator
Tina Tavakkoli is a student in the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Nianta University. She has a strong interest in short films, miniature productions, and historical scene reconstructions.
She has gained practical experience in social media video content creation, editing, camera operation, directing, and stage design. Tina has collaborated on several projects directed by Fehmi Gerçeker and contributed to the editing and post-production of the Survivor TV show.
As a content creator, she has produced both promotional and informational videos for Nianta University’s official Instagram account. She has also worked as an assistant director and production coordinator on various projects and served as a TV program coordinator at Kanal 34.


Gülüzar DEMİR
Production Consultant
Gülüzar Demir, who moved to Tehran in 1993 after getting married and worked as a Turkish language teacher there, was deeply influenced by Iranian culture, language, history, and people, which led her to conduct research on Persian Language and Literature. She traveled across the country to study Iran’s history and culture, documenting her impressions in writing. Deeply moved by Iran’s ancient history and rich culture, the author penned her travel memoirs.
During her travels, the author was profoundly affected by the impoverished and deprived provincial population of Iran—a country still under international sanctions. Her ongoing novel, titled YOLCU (The Traveler), portrays the indescribably complex lives of the region’s people—sometimes colorful, sometimes tinged with gray and blue—full of scarcity amid abundance, love, pain, pride, and hope.
While in Tehran, she took courses on screenwriting techniques. After returning to Istanbul in 1998, she worked as a copywriter for various radio stations, television channels, newspapers, and magazines. Simultaneously, she began working as a Persian-Turkish translator. Gülüzar Demir continues to serve as a Certified Persian Translator/Expert Witness and consultant for both the public and private sectors.
As a copywriter and screenwriter, she has contributed to numerous projects and collaborated with several production companies, including Bige Art Yapım, Burç Film, Estet Film, Anka Yapım, Akaya Films, Afitaş Film, Su Yapım, and Nöro Film.
Gülüzar Demir also wrote the screenplay for the short film FANUS, directed by Hasan Tufan Zarneshan, in which she played the role of Zehra, a village woman. She worked as a translator and assistant director on the film LITTLE REFUGEE, directed by Iranian filmmaker Batin Ghobadi. She was also part of the screenwriting team for DÖRT DUVAR (Four Walls), directed by the renowned Iranian director Bahman Ghobadi, and translated the screenplay from Persian into Turkish. She took on multiple roles during the film’s production and shooting stages. Additionally, she worked as a scriptwriter for voice-over narration in the documentary O ÇINAR, directed by the acclaimed and award-winning filmmaker Fehmi Gerçeker.
In 2017, she published a poetry book titled SUSTU KADIN (The Woman Fell Silent), which explores themes of migration, womanhood, war, and love. Today, Gülüzar Demir continues to engage in partnerships, coordination, and consultancy for film and TV projects between Turkey and Iran, translates literary texts between the two languages, and writes original screenplays.


Ali Kerim Akay
Editing
He was born in Istanbul in 1982. He completed İsmek's intensive Cinema and Television course under the direction of Defne Ilgaz, which opened in 2002. He later completed cinema and documentary courses at 2 different art centers. While continuing his studies at the Anthropology Department of Istanbul University, he participated in studies at Boğaziçi University Mithat Alam Film Center and followed interviews. During this time, he started working as an editor. Although he had to continue working, he won a scholarship to Bilgi University's Photography and Video Department. He edited many student films, various short and medium-length films, sectoral promotional films, documentaries, music videos, etc. After a while, he turned to photography professionally. He continues to work as a photographer, director of photography, and editor. In 2007, he was a member of the shooting and editing team of the documentary "Back Garden Demolition", which premiered at Bilgi University. In 2017, the documentary "Game of Territory", which he edited, won the best documentary award in the "California, Back in the Box" competition. In 2018, he undertook the cinematography and editing of the film "Prescription", which was screened at the 71st Cannes Film Festival and ranked 29th in the Short Film Catalog. He undertook the editing and colorization of Fehmi Gerçeker's documentary "O Çınar..." about Yürüyen Köşk, which had a special screening and online premiere in January 2021 and is planned to be premiered and screened in other countries. He continues to work with Fehmi Gerçeker on his new projects.


İlayda Güler
Researcher
İlayda Güler was born in Istanbul on May 3, 1997. After graduating from Saint-Benoît French High School, she pursued the only profession she wanted to be in throughout her life and went to France to study theater. She received training on writing, acting, scenography and clown from instructors such as Laurent Berger, Daniel Fayet, Joelle Chambon and Phillipe Goudard. In her undergraduate graduation project, she took part in Bertolt Brecht's Threepenny Opera as an actor and scenography coordinator. She is currently doing her MA in theater and modern and contemporary art history at Montpellier III Paul Valéry University; and is writing her thesis on the relationship between audience perception, interest and space. She is working on space, body and dramatization in her field. In the summer of 2020, she translated the play İçimdeki Yangın written by Halil Babür, which was shot on stage by combining theater and cinema formulas, into French and took part in the shootings for her methodological research as an observer. As theatre increasingly uses media, he takes on the role of a researcher in cinema productions, whose paths will frequently intersect, and investigates the roles of this unity.
